Ingredients:

1 package of Ezekiel original tortillas
Coconut oil
Pink Himalayan salt

Sprouted Grain Tortillas

Heaping tablespoon of coconut oil

Supplies:

Baking sheet
Measuring spoons
Food grade scissors
Bowl
(used for thoroughly coating Ezekiel chips with coconut oil and salt)

How to Make Ezekiel Chips

The good news is that is doesn’t take long to make homemade chips. In no time you will have a reliable and sturdy chip to scoop up a hearty pile of dip!

So, let’s get started with the easy instructions.

  1. First, preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Next, take the six tortillas out of the bag. (Place the resealable bag to the side in order to utilize it for storage)
  3. Use food grade scissors to cut tortillas into small triangle pieces, the size of a regular chip.
  4. Fourthly, place the cut chips into a medium to large size bowl.
  5. Melt down a generous tablespoon of coconut oil and pour over freshly cut tortilla wedges. Mix gently, thoroughly coating each chip evenly.
  6. After that, sprinkle a teaspoon of salt over tortillas
  7. Organize the chips into the baking sheet, making a single neat layer across the pan.
  8. Pop tortillas into the oven for 8-10 minutes, or until the tortillas transform into a crispy brown chip.
  9. Let chips cool 5 minutes. Afterward, transfer chips into a party bowl and enjoy!

How to Store Homemade Ezekiel Chips:

Storing Ezekiel chips is as easy as utilizing the bag the tortillas came in, or if preferred, a glass or plastic container. All things considered, it is rare occasion to store these crispy delights as they usually get eaten shortly after they are prepared but just in case, a room temperature, dry countertop will do the job!

  • 1 package Ezekiel Tortillas
  • 1 tbsp Coconut oil organic
  • 1 tsp Himalayan salt

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  • Use food grade scissors to cut tortillas into wedges.
  • Place tortilla wedges into medium to large size bowl.
  • Pour melted coconut oil onto chips. Gently mix until the tortilla wedges are evenly coated with coconut oil.
  • Once wedges are thoroughly and evenly coated, arrange them in one single layer on the baking sheet.
  • Now pop them into the oven on 400 degrees for 8-10 minutes or until the tortilla wedges have transformed into brown and crispy chips!
  • Let cool for 5 minutes.
  • Time to enjoy your homemade Ezekiel chips accompanied by your favorite dip or completely plain!
